Where are your clothes made?
Bamboo Lily™ is proudly made in Canada. Our fabric and clothes are all made locally and ethically in a working environment that is in compliance with Canadian labour laws. While some may argue that it is cheaper to manufacture overseas, we believe in supporting our local economy.

Are your clothes machine washable?
Yes, of course! Machine wash on Cold Cycle and toss in the dryer (if you must!) on Gentle Setting. It's better for the environment, if you let your garments hang to dry. (Bamboo clothing dries faster than most other fabrics) Do not use Bleach.

Why are you clothes labelled as Rayon from Bamboo?

The Textile Labeling Act and Regulations indicate `rayon' or `rayon from bamboo' should be used to identify the fibre. It is not legal to identify it simply as `bamboo'.  This "clarification" to the labeling regulations stems from the fact that `bamboo' is not a generic fiber name, and because of the processing involved in converting bamboo into a usable fibre. These issues are outlined on the Competition Bureau web site.

What is GOTS?

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is a comprehensive Standard that covers all aspects of the production of all natural fibers including processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, exportation, importation and distribution. The final products may include, but are not limited to fiber products, yarns, fabrics and apparel.

What if it doesn’t fit?
You can return the item to us within 10 days of your purchase and we will gladly exchange it provided that the item is returned in the same condition. Please note that Personailzed items are final sale.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat rate of CAD$9.00. We use Canada Post Expedited Parcel™. Please allow 5-10 business days for shipping time.  We ship with gently used boxes or packaging, when possible.  Less waste in our landfills = healthier planet!

Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship within Canada only. Check our 'Retailers' section for US stores.

Do you charge sales tax?
5% GST applies to all orders.

Is your site secure?
Yes. All orders are placed through a secure Paypal site. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Please note that you do not need a Paypal account to check out.  Paypal just processes the order.

Is my information kept confidential?
Yes, any information you give us is used only to process your order, reply to your questions, and improve our website. We do not store any credit card information. We will not share personal information with anyone. Please see our Privacy Policy.
